Vista Designworks is proud to sponsor the first annual Beaufort Festiv-ALE. Good times will be had by many at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. This weekend-long festival will feature a variety of breweries and live entertainment. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Senior Services of Beaufort County and the Brian Lanese Relief Fund.

About the Event

The first annual Beaufort Festiv-ALE will be held in Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park from Fe’brew’ary 26 – March 1, 2009. This is a festival of fine brews and the entertainment that is associated with beer! This year a generous portion of all sponsorship sales, ticket sales, merchandise sales, and booth rentals will be donated to Senior Services of Beaufort County.

The Beaufort Festiv-ALE will begin with a golf tournament on Thursday. Participants will taste a variety of craft beers and sausage while enjoying a relaxing day on the golf course.

On Friday, sponsors and VIP ticket holders will enjoy a private tasting and seminar. This private tasting will feature a tasting seminar led by brew masters from featured breweries. The brew masters will educate the patrons on the tasting, smelling, pairing, and complexities of beer while truly enjoying the greatness of beer.

Friday evening the park will open to the public for a special Brewmaster’s Concert. Enjoy a beautiful family evening with Nashville Recording Artist and Rising Star, Michelle Murray. Locals, Chris and Christian will bring their high energy show to the stage earlier that evening.

Saturday will be a day full of entertainment in the spring sun on the Beaufort River. Event patrons can taste some of the best local, regional, imported, and even home brews. Beaufort Festiv-ALE will feature a wide selection of craft brews from around the country to sample. Food vendors will feature some of the best cuisine to be paired with various styles of beer. Event patrons will be entertained throughout the entire day with live music and historically authentic dance and entertainment from Germany, Ireland, Belgium, and many other locations famous for their craftsmanship of fine brews. Beaufort Festiv-ALE will feature multiple contests. Contests will include: Best Brew in multiple categories, Best Home Brew, Miss Beer Wench 2009, Best Authentic Brew Master Costume, and even a Bottomless Gut Contest!

Saturday evening cannot be missed. The park will be converted into a major concert venue. Drivin’ N Cryin’, Souls Harbor, and Judson will perform hits to a park of 4,000 patrons.

Sunday will conclude Beaufort Festiv-ALE with another public tasting and the announcement of contest winners. Cumulative attendance for the multiple events is expected to surpass 10,000 patrons.
