What makes a great Logo?

In business, most understand that the first impression can be the difference between making or breaking the sale.

This is why a professional Logo design is so essential. In many instances, it may be the first thing potential customers see. After all, isn’t it proudly displayed on your print materials, website and advertising?

What your Logo should do for you:

  • Create a Brand Identity – your logo should tell your customers something about your business, it should also be widely recognizable.
  • Convey professionalism – Clip-art and cheap looking logos may say that you don’t care about investing in your business.
  • Reflect your unique selling position – what makes your business different from the competition? If your USP is that you have exceptional customer service and years of experience, then your logo may reflect trustworthiness.
  • Work well in all mediums – does you logo look just as great in one-color as it does in full digital color? A logo should be designed to look good as a decal, in a newsletter, or newspaper. It should also be scalable and look just as great on the web as it does on a billboard.
